A family medical practice that delivers skillful care with a touch of love and laughter.

Dr. Joseph Papotto, III, D.O.

He’s highly a trained, professionally accomplished doctor who’s totally serious about your health. Joseph Papotto, D.O. specializes in, and is Board Certified in Family Medicine. But rather than simply treating symptoms and sickness, he treats people. Achieving overall health, well-being and happiness for his patients is his goal as a doctor. And he’s serious about it. But’ don’t be surprised if he cracks a joke or clowns around once in a while.

Besides being a highly trained doctor (undergrad – Richard Stockton State College in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and med school/internship and residency at The University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey – School of Osteopathic Medicine). He’s a family man (father of triplets), and musician (plays four different kinds of stringed instruments and sings). He’s a frequent medical missionary to third world countries. And he is – seriously – a professional clown.

“My philosophy is to provide holistic care to patients by integrating conventional medicine with evidence-based alternative medicine. I received my calling into medicine while working as a clown in a third world orphanage seeing other caring doctors reach out to the poor. Therefore I make it my aim to dispense healing with joy and good humor versus fighting suffering with more suffering. The triune God: our Father Creator, the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit provide daily inspiration for me to accomplish this mission.”

Dudley Waddle, FNP

Dudley Waddle, FNP graduated from the University of Tennessee. He has years of experience in hospital and hospice nursing. He is trained as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care. Dudley’s experience as a hospital chaplain has contributed to the concept that wellness and good health starts with good thinking. It incorporates a balanced approach to life management. It harbors the belief that the relationship between patient and provider is the vehicle through which effective healthcare is delivered.

Communication of clear instructions, expectations and accountability of both patients and provider will contribute to effective treatment plans and improved health outcomes. Your body has a mind and voice of its own. You are your body’s only friend. Learn something new every day. Have fun and smile often!

Dudley starts October 1st, 2015. New patient appointments are filling up fast!

Nurse Lynn is a graduate of Aynor/Conway Career Center Nursing Program in 1996. She received the "Excellence in Clinical Nursing Award" at graduation. She brings 17 years nursing experience along with 6 years with Dr. Papotto. Lynn grew up wanting to be a nurse. She is a conscientious, compassionate care-giver and is a tireless patient advocate.

Lynn is a woman close to the soil who really "digs" gardening.

Judy Patterson, Medical Receptionist

Judy has been in the “greeting business” and medical, clerical work for over 25 years. Judy is the quintessential front desk specialist. Her friendly demeanor and smile always puts patients at ease. Besides being a gracious people person, she enjoys creating jewelry, golfing, baking and “geo-cashing.”

Trish has been doing medical billing and other complex administrative duties for over 25 years.
